Thunderkick has announced intentions for “continued growth” in Denmark after renewing its B2B supplier license in the country.

The licensing from the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden, is valid from January 1st and will allow Thunderkick to continue delivering its games to Danish operators until 2029.

Thunderkick’s Chief Compliance Officer, Wan Kim, stated, “Thunderkick is constantly working to strengthen its position in Europe, partnering with leading operators in key markets to increase brand visibility and player base.”

The decision follows recent regulatory changes in Denmark, where the country’s regulator declared that all online casino providers will be required to get an official supplier licence beginning in January of next year.

Thunderkick is among the first online casino providers to receive a license from the Danish Gambling Authority as a result of the new legislation.

Kim said, “Obtaining a B2B licence has been a priority since the Danish Gambling Authority published the new laws earlier this year, and our application’s success demonstrates the quality of Thunderkick products and our ongoing dedication to conforming to constantly updated legislation.

“The licence will facilitate our continued growth in Denmark, where some of the country’s biggest operators offer our unique content to local players.”

Thunderkick has continued to focus on European expansion in recent moves, signing a contract with CasinoMania last month to strengthen its slot content’s position in Italy.

Andrea Brioschi, Key Account Manager at Thunderkick, remarked on the deal: “While there has been a lot of emphasis on the Ontario and US sweepstake launches, Thunderkick remains dedicated to strengthening its brand in the European igaming industry.

“CasinoMania is a well-known operator in Italy, with a collection of exciting games from industry leaders. We are certain that the inclusion of Thunderkick’s distinctive, cutting-edge titles will boost this offering even further.”
