ALT Sports Data will start providing igaming operator bet365 with sports data engagement solutions.

By utilizing ALT Sports Data’s current sports relationships and bet365’s market knowledge, both businesses hope to broaden the betting experience for a larger target audience.

A representative for bet365 stated: “We are thrilled to collaborate with a market leader, and ALT Sports Data gives us access to a unique audience with cutting-edge analytics.

“As we continue to provide our customers with the greatest gaming experience, we look forward to incorporating new developments.”

The introduction of growth potential for sports that have historically been underrepresented in betting is one of the areas that bet365 and ALT Sports Data will concentrate on.

The collaboration is a huge help to ALT Sports Data, which appears to be vying for a podium position in the fiercely competitive sports data market, which is dominated by major firms like Sportradar, Genius Sports, and Stats Perform.

It signed a data rights agreement with Formula One just a few weeks prior to its agreement with bet365. The company’s decision to partner with one of the largest sports organizations and betting companies in the same quarter indicates that it wants to become a major player in the sports data and technology space.

Additionally, “We are excited to work with bet365, a true global leader in sports betting,” said Joe Dunnigan, ALT Sports Data’s founder and CEO. This collaboration is a big step toward our goal of mainstreaming alternative sports.

“We are developing a dynamic betting environment that will appeal to a broader spectrum of sports fans by offering data that motivates new and unique sports bettors.”

Recently, bet365 has been active in the sports betting space, most notably with the launch of its Super Sub bet option. It enables bets on certain players to be carried over to their replacement in the event that they are replaced in-game.

With Paddy Power and William Hill also introducing their own versions of the service, the debut coincides with heightened international competition.

Ted Orme-Claye, the editor of SBC News, and Jessica Welman, the managing editor of SBC, recently spoke on the iGaming Daily podcast to discuss the Super Sub feature in greater detail. More information on it can be found here.
