Scientific Games has been chosen as the New Mexico Lottery’s full-service provider, receiving a new 10-year contract for gaming systems technology and expanding the global lottery company’s prior contract for New Mexico Lottery Scratchers through the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership program.
The firm is the fastest-growing government-regulated lottery gaming system provider in the world, as evidenced by recent system contract wins in the United States and Europe.
The New Mexico Lottery’s CEO, David Barden, stated, “After a rigorous competitive procurement process, we are delighted to announce Scientific Games as the New Mexico Lottery’s new full-line provider.”
This strategic alliance will see Scientific Games become our sole lottery systems technology partner, as well as expand our existing Scratchers relationship to a complete SGEP arrangement.
We hope to improve performance and enhance scholarship money for New Mexico students by deploying a single, comprehensive solution across all of our lottery activities.”
With an emphasis on strategic planning across all product lines, Scientific Games will equip the New Mexico Lottery with the Momentum ecosystem, which includes the powerful AEGIS central gaming system, SciTrak quick game system, and Infuse business analytics platform. Scientific Games’ WAVE X point-of-sale merchant terminals and PlayCentral suite of self-service machines, which are available in over 1,000 stores, will let New Mexico Lottery players engage with new game content.

The Lottery has always taken a unique approach to Scratchers. As the systems technology provider, we are excited to innovate its entire business with our full ecosystem of sophisticated technologies to enable responsible growth.”
The SGEP program will help the New Mexico Lottery with Scratchers portfolio management and game planning, data analytics, advanced logistics, licensed brand services, and retail sales and marketing.
The program was used by more than 20 lotteries, including five of the top six performing instant game lotteries in the globe, and it resulted in a 31% increase in performance for US partners in fiscal year 2023-24.
The corporation also supplies licensed assets to the New Mexico Lottery, including GAME OF THRONES and LOTERIA. The Lottery will be backed in Albuquerque by Scientific Games’ game, product, and technology professionals, as well as the company’s cutting-edge facilities and logistical services.
