According to local authorities, the Primorye gaming zone in Russia’s Far East saw about 365,500 visits in the first half of 2024. According to the Development Corporation of Primorsky Region JSC’s official website, the total increased by around 50,000 persons over the previous year.
June saw the largest monthly figure for the period, with more than 62,000 arrivals.
According to the development organization, approximately 14% of visitors to the Primorye gaming zone in the first half were foreign tourists, primarily from Uzbekistan and “Asia-Pacific countries”. Primorye gaming zone casinos is growing.

According to the statement, a spokesperson from the development corporation stated that the local authorities were anticipating a new full-year maximum for resort attendance in 2024.
There are currently two casino resorts in the Primorye gaming zone, which is 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Russia’s Pacific port of Vladivostok. The Tigre de Cristal property is majority-owned by Summit Ascent Holdings Ltd, a Hong Kong-listed company controlled by LET Group Holdings Ltd. The Shambala Casino Resort, operated by Shambala CJSC, was the second casino to open there.
LET Group shareholders approved a plan in August to sell the company’s investment in the Tigre de Cristal casino resort. LET Group has yet to identify any possible purchasers.
LET Group revealed in February that a previously planned sale of its Tigre de Cristal casino operations to a Russian entity had been canceled at the request of the prospective buyer.
