Pragmatic Play, a prominent content provider to the iGaming market, has introduced John Hunter and Galileo’s Secrets, the latest installment in its renowned John Hunter series that blends mystery symbols with money respins for a 5,000x win potential.
In this astronomical adventure, the 5×3 grid is filled with telescopes, globes, and maps. Mystery symbols can cover entire reels, transforming into matching symbols to boost payouts or money symbols to help trigger the respin feature.
Six or more money symbols on the grid activate the respin feature, which provides three respins. Whenever a new money symbol appears, the number of available respins is reset to three. When there are no more respins available or the entire grid is covered in money symbols, the total amount of all cash rewards is accumulated and distributed.
Three book scatters initiate the bonus game, which starts with eight free spins. Before the feature begins, a random symbol is chosen as the mystery symbol, indicating whether the bonus game begins at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Super level. A gamble option is also accessible, giving you the chance to upgrade to a higher-paying mystery symbol.

During free spins, all mystery symbols expand to span the entire reel, and additional scatters are collected in a meter. After four scatters are gathered, the bonus game level is increased, a new mystery symbol is chosen at random, and two additional free spins are awarded.
Super level free spins can be obtained either upgrading during the feature or landing at least one super scatter on a bonus-triggering spin in the main game. In Super level free spins, the mystery symbol is always the money sign, giving players a better chance of hitting the respin feature.
Pragmatic Play’s award-winning slots portfolio now includes John Hunter and Galileo’s Secrets, joining Wild Wildebeest Wins, Bigger Bass Splash, and Ancient Island Megaways™.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, stated that “John Hunter is one of Pragmatic Play’s most popular game series.” This latest adventure includes upgrading mystery symbols that increase the bonus round, resulting in prizes of up to 5,000x.”
