The bet-tracking software logged over $64 million in transactions and over 1.8 million picks on the big game from users across the United States and Canada, with Same Game Parlays’ popularity continuing.
Pikkit, the bet monitoring app for sports bettors in the United States and Canada, today published its Super Bowl 59 betting statistics, which provides an in-depth look at community-wide patterns based on verified user bets across sportsbooks worldwide.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in the NFL season finale, and Pikkit’s platform caught every moment from its user base.
Pikkit’s statistics shows a steady rising trend in user engagement. Compared to last year’s stats in the same timeframe—roughly 1.5 million picks and around $46 million in handling—this year’s game saw over 1.8 million picks and more than $64 million in handle.
Of the $64 million monitored this year, almost 54% was gambled on player props, indicating a strong preference for dynamic prop alternatives.
Parlays accounted for 42% of bets, with virtually all being Same-Game Parlays (87%). 26% of all bets recorded had some form of promotion linked with them (odds increase, free bets, line shifts, etc.).

Meanwhile, traditional moneylines (8%) were less popular than they had been in previous years.
Over 1.8 million overall picks were recorded, with approximately 1 million (55%) spent on player props.
This analysis demonstrates a significant trend among gamblers preferring more engaging gambling choices vs traditional ones. In terms of particular selection volume, Saquon Barkley to score a touchdown led the way with 86,000 picks, while Jalen Hurts’ anytime touchdown pick was close behind at 70,000.
Despite the overwhelming support for Barkley’s decision, he did not score—a unexpected outcome for one of the Pikkit community’s most popular picks in the game.
Notably, while having the greatest dollar value, the Chiefs Moneyline ranked third in total choices (42,000).
Additionally, 3,000 selections were placed on Jalen Hurts to score the first touchdown—which he did in the first quarter.
Bettors also took advantage of Patrick Mahomes’ lackluster performance, with over 5,000 predictions tracking him to throw an interception.
