According to the statement, PGL’s collaboration with 1xBet includes broadcasting rights for the bookmaker, which will allow it to broadcast live matches on its own site.
In addition, 1xBet will sponsor PGL tournaments, commencing with their Counter-Strike 2 competition on February 14th, 2025 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Specifically, 1xBet will promote during event broadcasts and insert its brand into the streams.
“The esports community is fundamental to us, and partnering with PGL is one way for us to reach out and support that community directly,” said a 1xBet official in the release.
“We organize competitions to assist esports reach new audiences across the world and communicate what makes it so amazing. That’s critical to make esports genuinely worldwide.

1xBet is not new to the esports business. Last year alone, it collaborated on a variety of projects with Bestia and OG Esports.
This is also not the first time PGL and 1xBet have partnered. For the 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major, the two companies collaborated, with the betting firm serving as the event’s’main partner’.
1xBet has also worked with a number of event organizers on similar projects. In 2023, it collaborated with Skyesports to sponsor the Skyesports Masters, an Indian Counter-Strike competition based on a franchise concept.
PGL’s 2025 announcements featured details on its world-class esports events as well as future plans. Following the announcement of intentions to organize a tournament in Kraków, Poland in 2027 earlier this week, PGL confirmed that the event has been cancelled and that it is looking for a new site to host its tournament in early January.
