Kindred elected Pascal Chaffard, Edeline Minaire, and Célia Vérot as new directors in accordance with the FDJ’s proposal.
Kindred Group, which was acquired by La Française des Jeux (FDJ), declared significant modifications to its board of directors. Kindred saw a major restructure as a result of the historic purchase, which solidified FDJ’s position as one of the largest gaming organizations in Europe.
Kindred Reveals Its New Executive Team
Kindred announced that a number of its directors, including Kenneth Shea, Cédric Boireau, Andrew McCue, Jonas Jansson, and James H. Gemmel, have left the board. The chairman of the board, Evert Carlsson, has also left the company.
Kindred emphasized that as of October 14, the resignations are effective. The business also announced that Martin Randel and Heidi Skogster will continue to serve as directors until the end of their terms in 2025.
Meanwhile, the firm has appointed multiple people to its board of directors, effective October 14, in compliance with article 77 of Kindred’s articles of association. To cover the aforementioned vacancies, Kindred chose Pascal Chaffard, Edeline Minaire, and Célia Vérot as new directors, per FDJ’s proposal.
The tenure of the appointees are scheduled to end at the following annual general meeting of the firm in 2025. In the interim, Kindred’s board of directors will be made up of the following individuals:
- Pascal Chaffard (chairman)
- Edeline Minaire
- Célia Vérot
- Heidi Skogster
- Martin Randel
The company also announced that Martin Randel and Edeline Minaire will be on the Audit Committee, which will be led by Heidi Skogster. Conversely, Pascal Chaffard will serve as the chair of the Remuneration Committee, which will also comprise Martin Randel and Heidi Skogster.
About the New Board Members
Kindred released details on its new directors, stating that Pascal Chaffard has been with FDJ since 1994 and has been a longstanding employee. He is the executive vice president of finance, performance, and strategy for the French corporation at the moment.
In contrast, Edeline Minaire is a financial director with a wealth of business expertise. She began working with FDJ in 2016 and is presently the director of finance. She oversaw important automation and digitization projects in this role.
Not to be forgotten, Célia Vérot was a member of the French State Council for a while, serving in various positions of authority. She has worked for numerous businesses and nonprofits in addition to her roles as advisor and deputy secretary general in the French Prime Minister’s office.
