The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has welcomed GRID, an esports data supplier, as its latest member.
With the news, GRID becomes the first esports-focused Associate Member, demonstrating the sector’s commitment to betting integrity.
The collaboration comes two years after GRID earned IBIA’s Data Standards accreditation, allowing the esports business to actively contribute to the creation of specific esports integrity procedures.

Moritz Maurer, CEO of GRID, stated: “Integrity is central to GRID’s objective. By becoming an Associate Member of IBIA, we are taking a significant step in establishing esports as a trustworthy and respectable sector.

Since 2018, GRID has been working to establish integrity standards in the esports industry by monitoring competitions and reporting questionable activities that might have a direct influence on data integrity.
These efforts will now be bolstered by the IBIA, with both firms sharing expertise and knowledge regarding suspected bad actors and match manipulation incidents affecting professional esports throughout the world.
