Winna.com revealed this week that it has received $15 million in startup funding for its recently launched bitcoin gaming platform.
The company has not identified the investors who are backing the company in its early phases.
However, it did explain that the fresh funding will allow the company to expand its products, particularly in terms of player-versus-player games. The increased money will also enable quicker growth.
We intend to develop additional new crypto games that continue to deliver an industry-low house edge of under 1%.” Winna.com’s CEO and co-founder, Paul Martens, said in a recent statement.
Winna.com’s games include mines, plinko, roulette, blackjack, keno, and dice. Winna.com also provides slot games, live casino games, and products from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and Evolution.

In addition, Winna.com offers a cryptocurrency sportsbook with games from the NFL, NBA, UFC, MLB, and Premier League.
Winna.com commenced operations in the summer. It already has around 10,000 players and corporate operations in Costa Rica and Switzerland.
Martens said the increased investment comes at a time when crypto and Bitcoin online gambling companies are becoming increasingly popular.
“More and more players are recognizing the significant benefits that crypto and Bitcoin casinos provide over traditional online platforms,” Martens said in the statement. “Privacy and the ability to gamble anonymously are key drivers for this shift.”
On December 17, Bitcoin reached a record high of $108,316. The price has fallen in recent days and was trading at $96,200 in London on Friday morning, according to Bloomberg News.

Winna.com also offers a VIP program.
