Brazilian DJ artist Alok will headline the INFINITY Rio party during SBC Summit Rio 2025

SBC has announced that Brazilian DJ star Alok will lead the INFINITY Rio party on February 27 at SBC Summit Rio 2025.

“Building on the incredible success of the first INFINITY edition in Lisbon, Alok’s world-class talent, global fame, and electrifying sets will ensure yet another unforgettable night of high-energy music, creating an extraordinary closing experience as the industry’s biggest party, INFINITY, makes its Brazilian debut in Rio,” according to the announcement.

The Riocentro Super Stage, a new addition to SBC Summit Rio, will abandon its conference environment to host the party, with Alok laying the groundwork for the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, which begins the following day on February 28.

Alok comes from a family of musical pioneers—his parents, Ekanta and Swarup, are psytrance legends—which has helped him become a global name by combining Brazilian rhythms with electronic dance music (EDM). His breakout track, ‘Hear Me Now’, which he co-wrote with Bruno Martini and Zeeba, has approximately 800 million Spotify streams.

Alok is regarded as a pioneer in the Brazilian Bass genre, and his powerful basslines and addictive beats have won him a place among the world’s finest DJs. He has been ranked fourth in DJ Mag’s Top 100 for three consecutive years (2021-2023), and he continues to be a big force in the EDM scene.

The DJ’s success extends beyond his chart-topping tracks. With roughly 30 million monthly Spotify listeners and 30 million Instagram followers, he has become a global sensation. He has headlined some of the greatest events, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Lollapalooza, and has worked with well-known musicians including Dua Lipa, Jason Derulo, and Ed Sheeran.

In addition to his music, Alok has made an impact on popular culture by playing a character in the popular battle royale game Garena Free Fire. His influence in the industry has won him placements on various lists, including Billboard’s Dance 100, Forbes Brazil’s 30 Most Influential Brazilians, and Spotify’s Top 100 Global.

Aside from his professional endeavors, Alok is highly engaged to philanthropy. He formed the Alok Institute to help education, environmental protection, and social concerns in Brazil. His efforts to give back extend to the music industry, where he launched Controversial Records, a Spinnin’ Records sub-label, and UP Club Records to promote new artists.

SBC Summit Rio has swiftly established itself as a must-attend event in Brazil, and the 2025 edition will take place at Riocentro, one of Latin America’s largest convention halls. The February event is expected to have over 15,000 attendees.

Along with this expansion, the Super Stage will aim to improve the attendance experience, while the Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit brands, both of which launched in Lisbon, will make their Rio premiere.
