Platform Provider BETBY has become one of the first sportsbook vendors to launch in the newly regulated Brazilian market, having received accreditation from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
BETBY claims that it is permitted to supply its sportsbook solutions in what has become “one of the world’s most anticipated and rapidly expanding regulated betting markets.”
BETBY got federal approval in Brazil in mid-December, allowing the business to provide its software to operators who earned a license and went live on January 1, 2025, or who plan to obtain a license to operate in Brazil.

BETBY’s certification from GLI certifies its ability to meet Brazil’s technical requirements, which include sportsbook functionality, information security management systems, and information security standards.
“Having our sportsbook solution certified and operational in a regulated Brazilian market is a major milestone for BETBY,” said Ilze Ramolina, Head of Legal at BETBY. “Brazil represents one of the most dynamic and high-potential markets globally, with its unparalleled passion for sports and rapidly growing digital ecosystem.”Securing GLI accreditation demonstrates our dedication to ethics, compliance, and long-term success in this region. Brazil is critical to our global expansion strategy, and we are eager to work with operators that want to provide world-class sports betting experiences to Brazilian gamers.”
Brazil’s legal sports betting industry, which opened on January 1st, is predicted to grow to become one of the largest in the world, propelled by the population’s excitement for sports, particularly football, and an increasing move toward digital gambling.
BETBY claims that its localized approach provides a seamless user experience tailored exclusively to Brazilian players, “cementing its role as a key innovator in shaping the future of sports betting in the region.”
