The software company doubles down on player protection by joining the first wave of operators and suppliers to sign up for the industry’s most comprehensive safety solution.
With a focus on Player Health in its product strategy, leading data-driven software supplier Bede Gaming, part of the German Merkur Group, demonstrated that actions speak louder than words by being one of the first companies to endorse the UK’s new GamProtect scheme.
GamProtect was created to keep consumers who exhibit problem gambling tendencies safe. It provides a way for participating UK operators to share data about vulnerable customers in a regulated and secure manner across the GamProtect program’s network.
The plan uses a marker-based system to notify other participating operators that a client has been added to the GamProtect database, with the goal of encouraging a collaborative approach to monitoring player safety that will support the industry’s long-term survival.
