Since its founding 12 years ago, the NWSL has grown significantly and is currently the highest division of women’s professional soccer in the US. With CBS Sports, ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, and Scripps Sports all agreeing to show games, the league’s visibility has been greatly raised by a historic $240 million four-year TV agreement.
The success of the US Women’s National Team at the 2024 Olympics and the expectation of a title defense in Los Angeles in 2028 have fueled growing public interest.
